Elizabeth Peller grew up in Winchester and studied the violin at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music, and the Guildhall School of Music with Simon Fischer. 

She has worked with many orchestras, including the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, The Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Welsh National Opera, Northern Sinfonia, and for 12 years was principal second violin with Scottish Opera. 

Having returned to Winchester in 2011, Elizabeth now works as a performer and violin teacher.
