We have the great luxury of rehearsing and performing in two amazing venues: Winchester Cathedral and Winchester College.
Winchester Cathedral
Our November concert takes place in the cathedral in Winchester’s historic city centre at SO23 9LS. Please see the Winchester Cathedral website for more information about this venue.
New Hall, Winchester College
Our Spring concert is usually held at New Hall, an excellent performance space recently refurbished to provide a warm but clear acoustic and with comfortable, raked seating for the audience. New Hall is part of Winchester College, located on College Walk, Winchester SO23 9NG, with vehicular access via Wharf Hill. See the Winchester College website for more information.
Music School, Winchester College
We are grateful to Winchester College for allowing us to use the newly-refurbished St Michael’s Church (known as Michla) for weekly choir rehearsals, with occasional use of the Music School facilities.

St. Michael’s Church is in St. Michael’s Passage, which links Culver Road and Kingsgate Street, and is adjacent to Winchester College Music School. There is more space for social distancing in this building, which has been completely refurbished, pews removed, a flat floor installed, heating and toilets added. To aid airflow we will keep doors and windows open.
Parking at the Music School is limited to those with mobility problems – please do not park in spaces allocated to residents. Parking along adjacent streets is limited to 2 hours during the day. Romans Road can become full on rehearsal nights, but additional unrestricted evening parking can be found on the other side of St Cross Road in Edgar and Beaufort Roads.
